About J.R. Swigart Roofing

J.R. Swigart has been installing quality roofing systems since 1995. We specialize in commercial and industrial roofing and we take pride in giving our customers a quality roof for a fair price. We are dedicated to quality and our experienced employees set us apart.

When you work with J.R. Swigart, you’re working with contractors that are second to none. That’s because we’re GAF Master Selectâ„¢ Certified. This certification is only earned by a select few — only about 2% of roofers in the entire country have been awarded this high achievement. And that’s because it’s difficult. In addition to rigorous testing and evaluation, each Master Selectâ„¢ Certified contractor:

  • Must be properly licensed
  • Adequately insured
  • Have a high reputation for quality service
  • Be committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technology and practices, ensuring the highest quality roofing installation possible

We’re also proud to announce we’ve been awarded with the GAF President’s Club Award. Roofing contractors who have earned this prestigious award represent the best of the best. They have proven themselves in the industry by meeting stringent requirements for performance, reliability, and service.

About John Swigart

John Rodger Swigart, Founder of J.R. Swigart Roofing John Roger Swigart of Pasco, was born in Yakima, WA in 1960 and was tragically killed on June 16, 2019. Roger was the youngest child of Loren and Guila (Ramey) Swigart. He was raised and attended schools in Sunnyside, WA. Roger had two children with Shelly Beauchene; Christopher Beauchene and Jamie Swigart. Roger was the owner of J.R. Swigart Roofing and had been in the roofing business for 25 years. He was a hard working, well respected and successful businessman in the area.

John was a very caring and generous man, always willing to step in and lend a hand or help in any way. He would stand up for what was right or to defend family and friends. He is going to be sorely missed by many. Roger loved the outdoors; hunting, snowmobiling and fishing trips to Alaska. He had many, many good friends and good times at elk camp and at his cabin sitting around the fire sharing stories of adventures that he had with his brothers and friends.
